Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully as you will be bound by them. A contract between you and The Queen’s View will come into existence upon the date upon which you reserve a room with us.

Tarrif

The tariff includes the room and breakfast only with card details taken at the time of booking.  Full payment shall be taken from the card details provided 6 days prior to booking date.  Additions such as afternoon tea or packed lunches will be paid separately via an agreed payment method prior to departure.

Reservations

Reservations are only confirmed after receipt of credit and debit card details.

Arrival and Departure

Check-in time is between 4:00pm and 7:00pm. Please understand that we are preparing for your arrival, and cannot welcome you prior to 4:00 pm. If check in cannot be made between 4:00pm and 7:00pm guests are urged to telephone and discuss with us.

With prior notice we will do our best to accommodate late arrivals, however, out of courtesy to other guests, no one will be admitted after 10:00pm.

Children

Children are welcomed at The Queen’s View, with facilities provided, however it is requested that guests supervise children at all times. Our external play area can be utilised by young children under the age of 10, entirely at the guests own risk. The Queens View will not be held responsible for any accidents whatsoever.

Pets

Pets are not accepted within The Queens View, with the exception of  Guide Dogs and dogs for the Hearing Impaired.

Smoking Policy

The Queen’s View is a non-smoking facility and we do adhere strictly to our policy. The Surcharge for smoking within the house is £250.00.

Drink Licence

Whist we are currently working towards receiving an alcohol license, we are happy to provide guests with a variety of glasses, ice and other utensils upon request.

Cancellations

Bookings made direct with the Queen’s View: If a guest requires to cancel a reservation for any reason they must notify the proprietors by telephone and or in writing. Please allow 7 working days notice of cancellation prior to your arrival date to avoid a 100% charge. Earlier than scheduled departures are handled as a cancellation and the same policies apply.

Bookings made through Expedia & Booking.com etc :If a guest requires to cancel or change a reservation for any reason they must notify the original Booking Channel manager.  The Queen’s View have no control over such bookings

Breakages

The Guest will be responsible for the repair or replacement of any breakages, loss or damage and shall leave the room in a clean, neat and tidy condition.

Web Site

The proprietors believe that the information on this web site is correct but cannot accept responsibility for errors or misunderstandings. To allow for a policy of continuing improvement of facilities, the proprietors reserve the right to alter or amend the amenities or facilities offered. Please be sure to check directly with the proprietors.
