The Queen’s View B&B is centrally located between the historic cities of Edinburgh (approximately 15 miles), Stirling (approx. 18 miles) and the cultural city of Glasgow (approximately 27 miles). From the train station in Linlithgow you can get to Haymarket Station, Edinburgh in 15 mins or Queen Street Station, Glasgow in 30 mins.
The Bed and Breakfast is located within rural farmland, which has been recorded as being the former Royal Hunting Park associated with Linlithgow Palace. It is therefore assumed that Mary Queen of Scots would have once sat and looked out upon the landscape in which the B&B sits, hence the origin of the name ‘The Queen’s View’. Due to the open aspect of the landscape, un-interrupted views of the Palace are afforded and provides a unique feature to guests accommodating the front rooms.
Walking distance to the edge of the Loch is approximately 10 mins with a further 5 mins to Linlithgow town centre or the Palace.
